If this goes ahead in 2012, it will could alter irrevocably the great annual mass migration of Wildebeest through Serengeti/Maasai Mara. Yes, Tanzanian's infrastructure needs a serious upgrade but I suggest not at the cost of destroying a natural wonder, a vital part of the eco-system and (not least fo all) a valuble source of tourist revenue.
Hoping with some luck to see part of the wildebeest migration in Serengeti in October for a few days. Just like the snows of Kilimanjaro, its good to see these things, before they are gone...
