Nice to have some sunny days in Wellington, walking the Oriental Bay beat with the wife. Feeling a bit more settled. Nice to have been out to Petone a few times, take in that sea air and start to set the house up again. Will be good to get back into work on Monday.
Had a good catch up at a cafe on Cuba Street with Niko, a Tanzanian volunteer and former Arusha maize field snuggle mate. Good to riff about how we feel coming from 'there' to 'here'. Optimism for the future in NZ all round.
While the sun has set on Tanzania, the great Circle of Life turns ever on and a sun will rise again with me in Africa. Just not right now...gonna take in the Kiwi scene for a good time!
